Custom motif embroidery designs can enhance any machine embroidery design.

Motifs can be a great addition to any embroidery design.  You can use the custom motif embroidery designs as background quilting for any design, or simply just quilting for a finished quilt.  You can also use them as stamps and so much more.

Custom Motif Creation:

I make custom motifs often.  However, creating a custom motif from a blank screen can take a very long time to get it right.  Sometimes the motif will need to be redone again and again.

I have done the hard part for you!  You can create your own custom motif embroidery designs in your own software!  Because you are creating the design in stitches yourself, you will be creating a working file so that you can resize or edit the design any way that you would like.

Detailed instructions are included as well as step by step paths to help you create your own custom motif embroidery design.  Each step is numbered and color coded to make creating the embroidery design easier.  I also provide you with a graphic of the custom motif for you to trace over.

There are also a ton of tips and tricks to creating a motif, as well as the “rules” of motifs.  For example, motifs must be one color and a continuous line.  The software will take out any functions that you may have added – it will not cut, trim or change colors for the motif.

You Can Make your own motifs!

Follow the instructions and create your own motifs that you can use on just about any designs.  Try it, you will be surprised at how easy it is to create your own motif.  There are so many uses for motifs, and I use them often.  They really do add something to your final design, and everyone will be impressed with your hard work.
