Summer Beach mug rugs…I can almost feel the heat! Today is cold and rainy outside—like a fall day—so it’s a perfect time to go for a virtual walk on the beach!
I can’t go to the beach, but the best I can do is make some super cute mug rugs with a beach theme! I made a bundle of 5, and I used all the same colours for thread and fabric, so they belong together! In this bundle, you get two mug rugs free! Yep, free! It’s a great deal!

A friend of mine made up a shorter story for the order of the mug rugs: ..here is the story starting at the bottom right. Leave your flip-flops on the beach so you can walk in the sand barefoot, as long as the sand is not too hot. Next, stroll the beach with your dog – they love all the different smells and sounds on the beach, but make sure the sand is not too hot for his paws! Run ahead of your dog if you get the chance, and then he can run to catch up with you! It’s the perfect place for a game of chase! Of course, there are seagulls everywhere on the beach, and they leave cute little sand prints.
These mug rugs are meant to be in a bundle, but you can purchase each mug rug separately, too. I think any of these mug rugs will look great in any room in the house. I had company over for the Easter holiday, and everyone commented on the beach mug rugs in the living room and kitchen!
