Pick out your favourite bright colours for the owls and flowers and then your favourite green for the foliage and get stitching – it is fun to watch it come together!  I think gold or brown, or even blue eyes, would make the entire design stand out!  I used a blue/grey on my stitch out, but I would have liked them to be darker.
