This mug rug will fit into the 5×7 hoop and features some beautiful heart appliques along with some stitched hearts too. This in the hoop mug rug has the satin stitch finish, so we are able to make it into a nice shape instead of just a rectangle. The back will look as pretty as the front! SUPPLIES Supplies: 4.6 x 6.8 finished size 5×7 hoop Batting to fit into the hoop Background fabric – front and back to fit the hoop 4×4 scraps of fabric for the two applique hearts – it helps if you put some fusible backing on it because there are no quilting stitches to keep it all flat – you don’t have to do this, but it might help make it look better – I didn’t have any issues though.
