I have finally run out of gingerbread color felt, so I thought I would try a lighter color felt for the Gingerbread dog.  I think I like the darker better, but this gingerbread dog is the cutest ever!.  How about using bright and festive fabric or metallic thread?

SUPPLY LIST:

WSS stabilizer – use the fabric looking kind – the plastic kind will not hold up.

5×7 hoop

batting to fit into the hoop

fabric or felt 6×6 for both the front AND back

scraps of fabric for the applique ears – the size is approximately 2×3, so your smaller scraps will work!

I used the same thread colors for all of the Gingerbreads: black, white, red and light pink machine embroidery thread in this design – basic colors.
