This design will make a gorgeous picnic blanket, placemat, or even a candle mat or mug rug. By changing the thread colors you can change the fruit slices so that each line is different. Instead of watermelon, try a melon with white seeds! The oranges and lemons can be changed to a lime, pink grapefruit, or any other citrus slice!
Take advantage of the negative space in this design – the negative space also forms a clamshell shape! You can use any color background to make a new clamshell in between the slices!
