This cute s for a 5×7 hoop.  Read and scroll down for supplies.

This is a quick and easy machine embroidery design with 1 applique with a satin stitch finish!

SUPPLIES:

5×7 hoop

WSS

Batting is optional

Top Fabric 4×7 for the base of the design

3×6 fabric for the outside part of the dolphin

4×7 fabric for the back of the dolphin

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  use WSS in the hoop
2. placement stitch for the background of the bookmark
3. stitch down
4. placement line for the decorative part of the dolphin
5. place fabric down
6. stitch fabric down
7. trim dolphin fabric
8. stitch detail work
9. the shape of the bookmark, add the back fabric facing down
10. stitch down the back fabric
11. trim everything
12. stitch the outside of the dolphin bookmark
13. stitch the final satin stitches of the applique on the dolphin.
