Sizes included:  5×5, 6×6,  8×8 and 10×10

You are going to love this in the hoop quilt block set!  You can stitch an all-stars quilt, mix the stars and squares row by row or use the squares as a border for the stars-there are so many combinations for these three blocks, not to mention fabric and thread combinations.  (see below for the sunflower fussy cut idea)

Block 1:  Star Block

Block 2:  9 patch square block

Block 3:  4 patch squares

QUILT PLAN IDEAS:  Not just for Christmas Fabric!  you can use any combination of fabric for each block, or you can match all of the blocks as I did in my sample.   Here are a few color/fabric ideas using rows of each of the blocks.  The squares in the center of each block can be used for fussy cutting – the sunflower is my favorite so far!

Skill Level:  Beginner applique friendly

Sewing:  basic sewing blocks together and finishing the quilt or wall hanging.
