You are going to love this in the hoop quilt block!  Each block leaves the creativity up to you!  Match your thread colors to your fabric. Use Variegated thread or solid threads-everything looks good in this block!

Block 1:  card trick applique block

Block 2:  card trick quilted block

BONUS BLOCK 1:  card trick quilted block with color changes for each card so you can match the colors with your fabric in block 1.

BONUS BLOCK 2:  for something different, this block has only 2 applique colors and satin cover stitches for a completely different look.

QUILT PLAN IDEAS:  start with variegated thread and match your fabric to the thread for each block and each quilting block in a solid color to match the fabric. You could also do fussy cutting for the cards – think flowers, fall leaves, Christmas, Poinsettia, and even roses and don’t forget Halloween fabric, too!.   Try using bright colors, or fall colors for card, and create an earthy-fall look.  Anything goes with these blocks!!

Sewing:  basic sewing blocks together and finishing the quilt or wall hanging.
