8×12 Hoop

This two-part large Zen Owl is fun to stitch – you can use ombre thread colors or make a theme thread selection.  For the sample, I decided on a fire theme for my zen owl.  I also did one with shades of blue – they all look awesome.

In the instructions and in the video below, you will learn a new technique for joining quilt blocks together. I was tired of pinning and re-doing seams to ensure everything matched perfectly. When I created the Zen Owl, I did not look forward to matching up the single stitches, designs, and points, so I decided to make it easy to sew it once and have everything match up. This is a game changer and will make love in the hoop quilts even more!!
