This machine embroidered mug rug is completed completely in the hoop, with no sewing required. This mug rug is a quick stitch and looks great on any kind of fabric – maybe even gold fabric with a scroll pattern and gold metallic thread? how about black and gold fabric and thread.

This snowman Mug rug is fun and easy to make. I did the snowman face in white felt and then used black felt for the hat. For the sew-along, I am going to make the snowman hat bright and maybe add some flowers too. The band can be in any color.

This mug rug fits into the 5×7 hoop. It’s a shaped mug rug, so you will need wss in the hoop. You can mix and match scrap pieces for the hat, if you have 2×4.5 scraps, they should work well. The snowman’s face is around 4×5. you will need matching fabric for the back of the mug rug 7×6 will be big enough for the back. Don’t forget the batting and remember to wind a bobbin that matches your top thread for the final stitches! Let’s put it all together and stitch out a fantastic mug rug
