THE GINGERBREAD family will look amazing around your house – they are all so cute!    These awesome mug rugs will fit into the 5×7 hoop on your embroidery machine, and is a quick stitch out!

I used felt for all of mine, but you can use any type of fabric that you want – they all look good!  Gingerbread Family are all quick stitches and are made in exactly the same way.  They all look fantastic!

The embroidered mug rug Gingerbread Family designs will fit into a 5×7 hoop.

Think outside the box and use silver metallic thread for the sparkle and outline of the eyes. You could also use a variegated thread for the outside satin stitches (if you have a brown/beige set that would be perfect, but I think most colors will work)

SUPPLIES YOU NEED FOR EACH MUG RUG:

WSS (water-soluble stabilizer)

5×7 hoop batting to fit into the hoop

fabric or felt 6×6 for both the front AND back

I used black, white, red and light pink machine embroidery thread in this design – basic colors.

Scraps of fabric for the scarf on the Gingerbread girl.
