I have finally run out of gingerbread color felt, so I used fabric!  as you can see from the pictures, it looks just as good.  How about using fancy fabric or metallic thread?

WSS stabilizer – use the fabric looking kind – the plastic kind will not hold up.

5×7 hoop

batting to fit into the hoop

fabric or felt 6×6 for both the front AND back

I used the same thread colors for all of the Gingerbreads: black, white, red and light pink machine embroidery thread in this design – basic colors.
