Hey everyone!! I wanted to get some more mug rug tutorials out before Christmas, so everyone can keep stitching along!!

In this video, I am going to show you step by step how to create this awesome embroidered Penguin mug rug, finished completely in the Hoop.

This mug rug embroidery design fits into the 5×7 hoop.

You will need:

5×7 Hoop
WSS (fabric type)
batting to fit into the hoop
background fabric 6×6, and same for the back of the mug rug
Scraps of fabric for the 2 penguin applique 5×3
applique scissors
matching bobbin thread for the final satin stitches and lace stitches

Once you have this Penguin guy stitched out, you will want to make more!
