If you have a HASP error, the first thing you should do is shut down your computer (not a reboot, a total shut down) and restart your computer. 1. is Hatch the same thing as Embird? It seems to be somewhat similar to what I am seeing, but the price seems a bit high as compared to Embird.

Also, I want to learn Embird for digitizing. I have reviewed your video Sue, and the first video seems to be a bit /a lot more detailed than what I want for a first out of the gate start. Is there a REAL basic instruction that will show me how to draw a line, make it fatter, draw a circle. know what I mean? This video is starting with a picture and making it do various things and this does not seem to be BASIC. thanks for your understanding and help.

    • yes there are quite a few beginner videos on the channel. check out some of the quick tip videos – they are more of what you are after – and there are 84 of them on my channel so you will find what you need. Once you finish those, then move on to the introduction classes, and then move to any of the other Hatch Embroidery classes! Thanks!

  2. I have Embird and I love your videos…Thank you!
Would I benefit from watching the Hatch videos even though I’m not going to get Hatch anytime soon? Or would it all get too confusing?

      • also, yes, you can learn stuff from the Hatch videos and carry that over to embird. I usually use basic stitches and basic settings – it will also help you get to know embird a bit better, too!
